  • The Lone Pine Project
    The project will plant seedlings in hospices around the country, to highlight the unique needs of veterans receiving palliative care.
  • Australian Victoria Cross recipients to commemorate Battle of Lone Pine in Turkey
    Joining direct descendants of some of the seven Anzacs awarded the Victoria Cross in 1915 for their bravery and valor at Lone Pine.
  • Lone Pine saplings to call Townsville home
    propagated from the original Lone Pine at Gallipoli, the saplings are a living commemoration of Anzac history.
  • Govenor-General to lead Lone Pine commemorations in Turkey
    to honour those who fought and fell on the Gallipoli peninsula.
  • The Gallipoli Symphony
    Following the invitation-only world premiere at the historic Hagia Irene in Istanbul, Turkey on 4 August, the Australian premiere will be performed by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Brisbane at QPAC on 24 November 2015.
  • Bandages and Battlefields
    The proud history of Queensland’s doctors, nurses and support staff who served during the First World War is the subject of a unique documentary ’Bandages and Battlefields’, produced by the Department of Health as part of the Queensland Anzac Centenary. The 42-minute documentary reveals the work, memories and legacy of local medicos, including 1300 doctors and about 2500 nurses, who worked in terrible conditions in the medical service during the war.
  • Brisbane school choirs to sing at Gallipoli
    The Brisbane-based school choir, with singers aged 13 to 30, was the only group to sing at Gallipoli during the anniversary commemorations.
  • Follow the 2015 Premier's Anzac Prize winners' historic journey
    Follow the journey of the 70 winners of the 2015 Premier’s Anzac Prize as they experience the Anzac Day Centenary commemoration in Gallipoli and visit the Western Front battlefields. Visit the website to view photos, videos and journals from the trip and stories of service people commemorated.
  • Gallipoli television mini-series
    Channel Nine produced this seven part mini-series to run over four weeks from 9 February 2015.
  • Anzac Centenary photo app
    The Australian Government has produced a mobile phone app which allows you to see and share commemorative photos taken from around the world.
  • Australia Post Anzac stamp series
    In honour of the centenary, Australia Post has released a series of stamps to tell the story of Australia’s involvement in the First World War.
  • Australia Post VC Recipient postage stamps
    Five of Australia’s most honourable soldiers and VC recipients have been stamped into history as the recipients of the 2015 Australia Post Legends Award.
  • Red poppy lipstick
    Issada Cosmetics is partnering with the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF) to help raise funds for victims of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and their families.
  • Spirit of the Anzacs by Lee Kernaghan
    Country music star Lee Kernaghan has created a special musical tribute inspired by letters to families written by servicemen and women held at the Australian War Memorial. The proceeds from the sales of the Spirit of the Anzacs album will go to Legacy.
