The Gallipoli Symphony

Following the invitation-only world premiere at the historic Hagia Irene in Istanbul, Turkey on 4 August 2015, the Australian premiere was performed by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Brisbane at QPAC on 24 November 2015.

Performed to over 1300 guests, The Gallipoli Symphony—comprising of 10 movements created by 11 internationally respected composers from Australia, New Zealand and Turkey—was accompanied by the voices of St Joseph's College and All Hallows' school choirs and The Australian Voices.

Congratulations to all involved in this spectacular musical tribute which illuminated the past while bringing us together in the future.
