Remember our Anzacs 2016

On Saturday 24 September, visitors to South Bank Parklands had the unique opportunity to see what the Queensland Anzac Centenary grant recipients have been up to in a pop-up exhibition at The Courier-Mail Piazza.

The Remember our Anzacs exhibition, which coincided with Sunsuper Riverfire, showcased educational displays and performances from a variety of local grant projects commemorating Queensland's involvement in the First World War. It was free and open to all ages with plenty of exciting children's activities, including games from 100 years ago.

As part of the Sunsuper Riverfire celebrations, Australian Defence Force activities including RAAF Super Hornet and Army helicopter displays featured late in the afternoon and evening before the fireworks commenced at 7 pm.
